I could not say how good this item/toy is because my box was UNSEALED and missing items when it arrived. I am disappointed with the way this item was shipped. It was all I had for my niece so I had to give it to her anyway and so I cannot return the product. I have searched everywhere to give feedback to AMAZON.COM but had no luck. Additionally, all of my Christmas gifts were sent to the WRONG address even though I specifically added the alternate address to ship the items to. I am very very disappointed in AMAZON.COM, especially at such a critical time as Christmas.

This was a gift that was opened on Christmas morning and because I had only seen pictures

of it and not the physical set I was uncertain how good it was, but my 12 year old is very happy

with it. She spent hours over the Christmas school break designing and illustrating all kinds of

costumes from runway models, to cool band outfits and red carpet events. We also bought a

Vanity Fair book on fashion and I think between the two items she has been drawn into the world

of fashion which is a new and not so surprising interest for her age group. I would add to this set

the option to buy additional design drawing books, she has drawn so much she will run out of them

very quickly. The set was very age appropriate and I was very happy about that. Thanks for a great product

Bought this as a gift for my niece who loves fashion and project runway. At 11 years old it was a great gift for her and she really enjoys it. There isn't much to it though. It's a booklet with clothing sketches you can use for inspiration, a tablet of paper and colored pencils. So, it's up to you to decide if it's worth the price.

Lets you be creative making outfits on preprinted papers. Only problem we had is the pencil holder is not very sturdy. Had to put tape on to keep them from falling out. Other than that....excellent product for your future fashion designer.

Does not focus: blurry with too many lines besides the one dark outline. Difficult to chose where it should go because the many lines make determining the outline of the figure underneath. Trying to reach the manufacturer to ascertain whether it is a malfunction or not.

This was not a good choice for her but my 6 year old daughter loves it and has used it daily since Christmas. I imagine that she will use it over and over again. I bought this as a Xmas gift for my 7 yr old daughter - who I knew would love it. Give her a piece of paper and something to draw with and she's in fashion heaven - so throw in slides, a projector, etc. and this was striking gold!



What I didn't expect is that my 6 yr old and 11 yr old daughters and even my 8 yr old niece would go so crazy over it too! The combination of the basic sketch and the slides is clearly very effective at heightening the child's interest in creating, coloring and actually USING the toy - over and over and over - and for me that's what counts. Too many times you see the gift of the season on every parents' lips get opened on Xmas and by the time the snow melts it's collecting dust because of disinterest and non-use.



If you daughters, like mine, have an artistic side - this is a can't miss...so much so I went back and bought 2 more on Boxer Day. ;)
