She's only secured by her two small feet. But this has not deterred her. My girl still loves these princesses with all of her heart.

My 3yo is all of the sudden really into princess. I bought these for her birthday and she really likes them. She is so imaginative with them. Their faces are a little scary though...not nearly as pretty as the ones on TV. Very sturdy and no small pieces.

These dresses i'm sure will rip once handled a couple of times. They feel like paper and do not flow at all. Just crinkle loudly. My daughter has yet to play with them but I took them out of the packaging and it is just not worth it.

These dresses have to be the most awful Barbie dresses created. They look cute in the picture, but in reality are made of some kind of material that feels like some kind of loud, crinkly sounding paper. Even the velcro that holds the dress closed on the doll is sub-par. The pink dress has one side of velcro that is red and the other side is green - maybe a minor issue if the dresses were of any decent quality.



Even my four year old, who is all about princesses, is not impressed.



I absolutely do NOT recommend this product.

My 2 year old loves this doll. It has a pretty sparkly dress and nice quality hair. The hair stays nice even after drying after bathtime. It does change colors when submersed in hot and cold water, which is amusing in itself. Neither one of us mind if the colors don't switch back right away or at all. The only point of frustration is my daughter is continuously trying to take Ariel's fins off and gets frustrated when she can't! This is defitely her new favorite bathtime toy.

My daughter has become a big Ariel fan here lately and so when we saw this toy in the store, we thought it would be fun. I must say, my daughter does love the toy, but the color change decals haven't worked since we brought it home. Unless my daughter plays in the freezer, it's unlikely she'll ever be able to see the decals (which are minimal anyway) because the only way they even start to show up is if you stick Ariel in the freezer. I recommend this toy for fun in the bath, but if you're particulary excited about the color change feature - forget it.

I purchased this doll after reading the various reviews on Amazon. I was looking for a bath specific Ariel doll for my daughter. It is a great doll. She has the temperature sensitive decals on her tail and abdomen, plus a temp sensitive streak in her hair. When the doll hits warm water, the decals disappear and the purple streak in her hair turns to blue.



Some complained that the decals will only reappear in "ice water". That's simply not the case. I've had the decals appear on their own when the doll wasn't used for a bit of time, or my daughter just sets the faucet on the coldest setting and runs the doll under it. So I really have no complaints on the decals.



However, I do have a complaint about the doll. The hair. I find that she is losing strands of hair. Now, it's not like the doll is going bald or there are bald spots, it's just that strands are loose. What happens? They either end up in the bathwater or, what happens most of the time, Ariel gets a rat's nest in her hair at a longer point than the rest of her hair. I've given her 2 trims to eliminate these "nests". Also, I find that the hair mats or sticks together a little bit when you bring the doll out of the bath water. So I would have preferred that the manufacturer use a different material for the hair.



But overall, I think it is a good product for bathtime.

My little girl who is about 4.5-years-old loves fairy tales and anything princess related. We were lucky in that we found this doll, in almost mint condition at the consignment store for less than [..] I figured it was a great deal, and it was - Princess Liana not only looks beautiful, but has interesting features that have made her a firm favorite amongst my daughter's collection of princess dolls [mainly Disney].



Princess Liana has a beautiful gown, but what is amazing is that with a turn of the knob at the back of the doll, Princess Liana's dress will start to swirl in the front like a windmill, and reveal a more glamorous look. The doll also has a sort of button on one of her palms and when pressed, a song from The Diamond Castle plays. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the dress cannot be detached and that her legs don't move. Other than that, this is a beautiful doll that is fun and engaging!

My daughter got this for her birthday. It wasn't working within 3 hours and she was not rough with it. The knob to change the dress no longer does anything except chime so if N wants to change the dolls skirt, she has to do it by hand. A very disappointing waste of money.
