I bought this doll for my daughter the outfits were cute and the doll had a pretty face and a reasonable amount of makeup and did not look like a clown. When I opened the box and removed everything it was all cute and I knew my daughter would have a good time with it. The only drawback I guess you could say is that when I removed the Barbie doll from the box I was a little shocked that it looked like she got her hair cute with a pair of pinking shears. I don't think that there is one hair on this dolls head that is the same length needless to say that all this dolls hair can do is just hang there and you cannot even pull it back in a ponytail to keep it looking nice. This doll will look a mess in a short time as most Barbie's do. But like most parent my daughter is happy and in the end that is all that matters.

This comes with a small bag of pixos. This has been played with once before the rest of the pieces were scattered all over the place. Once you make the dolls, there's not really much to do with it. This would have been fine for a $5 toy, but not for a $15 toy. I guess I'm being harsh, but I don't feel this is worth the money. I know kids really want these things so if you can get it on sale after Christmas, go for it! But don't pay full price.

We bought the Alex Fashion in the tub for our 4 1/2 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves playing with it. The characters stick to the wall fairly well and the clothes stick to the doll very nicely. The mesh bag hangs easily. I did notice some brown on the backside of some pieces, perhaps from water soaking into the foam? We just opened these a week ago and she's used them twice, so it can't be mildew (doesn't look like it anyway). But it only affects a few of them and only on the backside. Overall, I'm very happy with these and glad we bought them.

I got this for my 3 year old. We only used it once so far and she did have fun with it but the pieces don't stick as well as I thought they would. They stick to the wall pretty good, but not as well to each other so the clothes don't stay on as well. I have a tub that isn't completely flat so theres limited space where she can stick them and to play on the wall, she would have to stand (not a good thing for a 3 year old).

The mesh bag is way too small and I can see how someone ripped a piece pulling it out of the bag. It should be twice the size. i gave it 4 stars because I think the idea is great and even though it's not quite what I expected, it's still a very fun toy.

The Liv dolls are a hit in our house!!

This is another set of clothes that are cute, fun and trendy.

As with the evening wear set I have the same complaint with the one pair of "leggings" in this set.

It is really more of a cosmetic complaint, but the elastic on the waist is just a white elastic strip sewn on the outside of the brown legging.

It really stickes out, there is no folded over hem to hide it, and it is the outside of the clothing item.



Otherwise the clothes themselves, my 7 year old has NO problems dressing and using by herself.

I was excited to get this for my 4 year old daughter knowing how much I loved the Barbie Fashion Plates (which I could only find used). This was the closest thing I could find to it. I wish I would have bought a used Barbie one...this is poor quality and has no place for storing the included crayons for rubbing (2 red and 2 yellow) and the colored pencils. I will still give this to my daughter for Christmas, and I'm sure she'll enjoy playing with it, but I am really disappointed with this item.

This is a fun toy and my six-year-old daughter and I can spend some quality time designing and coloring the images. This set is very similar to the Fashion Plates sets from the 1980s. If there is one thing they could improve on it is that there could be a few more colored pencils.

This is a great concept, but is on the small side and is made of an inferior quality heavy cardstock/cardboard. Brightly-colored and decorated, it has a built-in wardrobe with plastic hangers for Liv fashions which also converts into a single bed, after a little maneuvering. There is also a built-in dresser with drawers that really open up, so you can store your shoes and other Liv accessories. A "mirror" and some built-in shelving to display purses or even a wig on a model head or two rounds it out. The whole thing converts into a bedroom when opened up. The problem is that everything is made so flimsy and cheaply, you'll be lucky if your little girl doesn't completely trash it within the year, or even six months with regular play. I had a similar thing for my Barbie when I was little, but it was constructed of heavy corrugated cardboard and lasted for years and years. What would have been better, was if they had made it in padded vinyl, at least, like Barbie carrying cases are. Still, its all that's out there for the Liv Dolls, and my granddaughter loves it.

My 9 yr old got this and a Liv doll for Christmas. She loves it. It is a good fit for her because a) she is not a toddler or small child b) she is not interested in making it more then it is and c) she won't break it in a week. I would NOT get this for anyone under the age of 7. It is cardboard, it will not hold up. However, for my kiddo at her age it is a great addition to her doll-world :)

I am very happy with how all of these pieces were made EXCEPT the pink legging pants.

They have the white elastic on the waistband just sewn on the outside , no hem to hide it.

The "fur wrap", I was surprised how soft it feels!

This was a gift that was opened on Christmas morning and because I had only seen pictures

of it and not the physical set I was uncertain how good it was, but my 12 year old is very happy

with it. She spent hours over the Christmas school break designing and illustrating all kinds of

costumes from runway models, to cool band outfits and red carpet events. We also bought a

Vanity Fair book on fashion and I think between the two items she has been drawn into the world

of fashion which is a new and not so surprising interest for her age group. I would add to this set

the option to buy additional design drawing books, she has drawn so much she will run out of them
