My daughter got this toy from Santa. She really loves it. The drawbacks- it is REALLY loud and really bulky and hard. So when it gets left in your bed it can be a nuisance! On the plus side- she still likes "taking care of" her, and it is a great option for little "mommies" who aren't fans of baby dolls.

My oldest daughter got hers just a couple months before her 3rd birthday and she loves to coddle her pony and sing along with the little songs she sings. I've had to keep the accessories out of reach because they're not safe around our 1yo daughter. Even when they're offered to her, our 3yo could care less about them. It's all about the pony!

This is a cute toy but its about as much fun as a doll. My daughter previosly had the talking Pinkie Pie who sang more songs and had more phrases. I guess we were a little let down that this wasnt just as fun but Starsong is the perfect nighttime companion. She sings a lullaby and goes to sleep, meaning, no prompts to press another button to sing another song.
Shes soft except for her noggin which doesnt hurt when you "accidently" get his with it, her hair is short, so no worries about tangles(our issue with pinkie). She has the cutest little wings on her back, and her diaper is attached but you can unfasten it and take a peak at her belly button.
No volume control or off stand-by button, batteries included.

I purchased this for my 4-year-old daughter who LOVES My Little Ponies, especially the entire So Soft series. She was excited that Starsong came with the extra feeding supplies and cloth, as opposed to just a bottle or just a pacifier like the previous Ponies. This Pony says more things than the previous ponies, so that was also exciting for her. It's a great toy for the kid who loves them.
