This is exactly the same set of figurines you can purchase at the Disney Store, if they have them in stock. My daughter (age 2) loves these princesses. They actually come in the current oval plastic container. The vendor shipped them quickly, and they are exactly what I was expecting to receive.

We bought this our 2 year old daughter back in October. She has played with them EVERY. SINGLE. DAY since then. She carries them everywhere. Now, Jasmine did break off of her base. She's only secured by her two small feet. But this has not deterred her. My girl still loves these princesses with all of her heart.

My 3yo is all of the sudden really into princess. I bought these for her birthday and she really likes them. She is so imaginative with them. Their faces are a little scary though...not nearly as pretty as the ones on TV. Very sturdy and no small pieces.

She loves them, carries them with her in tote bag so she can play with them wherever she goes. There are a few tiny pieces (ie shoes) included that are not recommended for little ones to play with and can easily be lost, mine already has, giggle. These princesses have brought my Princess alot of exercising of her imagination.

Though the toy is marked for 3+ it has many very TINY parts. My daughter beheaded Ariel just trying to get a dress off of her, so the small dolls aren't very durable at all. Overall she loves playing with them in her Favorite Moments Dream Castle. As a parent though, I am feeling that I spent way too much money on a very fragile product.

My girls (2.5yo and 4yo) love these dolls and play with them often, if not daily. My biggest complaint is that they break so, so easily. We have this set and a few other sets and at least 50% of the dolls have lost their heads. Some have lost legs and arms as well. The dresses have held up better than the dolls, but several of the dress have torn and needed to be thrown away. We've had them for several months and although my girls love them I will not replace the broken dolls. I just can't spend money on toys that I know will break easily with normal play.

My daughter is in love with these princesses. She is only 2 so we have hidden all the smaller items but she doesn't care. All she cares about is the "ladies" as we call them and of course their dresses. She carries them 24/7, Literally! She goes to bed w/ them and will wake up with them in the same hand, she bathes, eats, and goes on the playground with them. We joke that she has a death grip on these dolls. She has her favorites (Aurora and Bell) but it does change on any given day. At 2 years old she can sit and play for hours by herself making up stories and scenarios for these dolls. She has them talk and act out parts of the movies. I think these dolls have helped with our daughters vocabulary and definitely with her imaginative play. Although she can't dress them herself yet she can undress them and she has fun pretending and of course asking mommy to re-dress them. I would recommend these to anyone who has a child who loves the princesses.

My grand-daughter just turned 4 and I sent this to her for her Birthday Party - which was a tea party for little girls!! The present was definitely a hit! I would only suggest a small clear container to hold all the small pieces, be included. I live 10 hours from my grand-children and Amazon is quick and dependable and makes my life much easier.

My 2 year old loves this doll. It has a pretty sparkly dress and nice quality hair. The hair stays nice even after drying after bathtime. It does change colors when submersed in hot and cold water, which is amusing in itself. Neither one of us mind if the colors don't switch back right away or at all. The only point of frustration is my daughter is continuously trying to take Ariel's fins off and gets frustrated when she can't! This is defitely her new favorite bathtime toy.

My daughter has become a big Ariel fan here lately and so when we saw this toy in the store, we thought it would be fun. I must say, my daughter does love the toy, but the color change decals haven't worked since we brought it home. Unless my daughter plays in the freezer, it's unlikely she'll ever be able to see the decals (which are minimal anyway) because the only way they even start to show up is if you stick Ariel in the freezer. I recommend this toy for fun in the bath, but if you're particulary excited about the color change feature - forget it.

I purchased this doll after reading the various reviews on Amazon. I was looking for a bath specific Ariel doll for my daughter. It is a great doll. She has the temperature sensitive decals on her tail and abdomen, plus a temp sensitive streak in her hair. When the doll hits warm water, the decals disappear and the purple streak in her hair turns to blue.



Some complained that the decals will only reappear in "ice water". That's simply not the case. I've had the decals appear on their own when the doll wasn't used for a bit of time, or my daughter just sets the faucet on the coldest setting and runs the doll under it. So I really have no complaints on the decals.



However, I do have a complaint about the doll. The hair. I find that she is losing strands of hair. Now, it's not like the doll is going bald or there are bald spots, it's just that strands are loose. What happens? They either end up in the bathwater or, what happens most of the time, Ariel gets a rat's nest in her hair at a longer point than the rest of her hair. I've given her 2 trims to eliminate these "nests". Also, I find that the hair mats or sticks together a little bit when you bring the doll out of the bath water. So I would have preferred that the manufacturer use a different material for the hair.



But overall, I think it is a good product for bathtime.
